Tonight "Internet" is making a rare appearance at Buddies in Bad Times theatre.
I am one 1/2 of Internet, an a capella D&D scream & fight band.
Also:
February 28 at Sneaky Dee's, Final Fantasy is part of a Covers night.
I can't remember who else is playing. I'm pretty sure the Great Lake Swimmers are a part of it (if so, so much the better!)
I'll be playing Ciara, Human League, Architecture In Helsinki, Hank & The Collective, Talking Heads, Fifth Column, and (maybe) Destroyer and/or The Zombies.

man, so at the 9:30 club (dc) show you did, when you opened up with "this is a song about divination" i lean over to my friend kent and say "that's a sphere of magic in d&d" and we have a good laugh about it. then you said something like "actually, it's inspired by dungeons and dragons"
damn, i nearly shat myself. good times.
so, onto my point- what makes a group a "d&d scream & fight band"?

Internet is me and Steve getting on stage, throwing chairs around and screaming "29% CHANCE OF BENDING BARS! LEVEL 8 DRUID SPELL: REGROWTH! SUMMON ANTLION DEFENDER! AGILITY MAXED!"
It's better than it sounds.
