Sounds like the guitar will figure more prominently in the new songs than it did on The Air Force.
I can't wait for this. "You Are Pregnant, You Are Dead" sounds really fun.
Also, all of the songs are under four minutes?
I guess that's not unusual at all.

Yeah it's going to blow minds. Even 28 seconds is indicative (fade in fade out).

SORRY!..."Under Pressure" sounds fucking awful  i imagined it way different, not that it sucks because it doesn't sound like i want it to...but it's just    so far i just like 2, 5, 8, 10 and 11. amazon got the leak before us  now that they have it, it should be all over the web any time now...... |

Though I am guilty of saying two posts up that even 30 seconds is indicative of this album's potential to blow minds, I'm well aware and urge you (moist pink) to be well aware that those are just little samples, and no one's music (not even Xiu Xiu's) lends itself to 30 second samples.
Anyway, if your first impression of the cover is bad, that's unfortunate. Hopefully the song as a whole will suit you better. I don't remember disliking it, but I'm not going to listen again to see.
Imagine only hearing 30 seconds of the quirky middle section of "Buzz Saw."
P.S. Actually, 30 seconds of Buzz Saw still wouldn't put me off. Let's just wait for the full album, shall we?

The Under Pressure cover sounds a bit weak. But I think the album is sounding pretty great. I can't wait to hear it.
