the xiu xiu shirt with the kitty cat being held up in the air is, as im being told, a print from "through the looking glass". is this true?

looked it up, turns out it IS in the book... isnt this copyright infringement on xiu xiu's behalf or is the artwork from Through the Looking Glass public domain?
