how can one artist be "better" than another? its a completely subjective topic.
In Rainbows is great in my opinion, ill be listening to it as much as i did Air Force.

y'all are crazy--its worse than hail and that was about as a good as a bside album. and the new peej is really crap too. oh and the new bjork. the only great thing this year was barr. damn--what a crummy year--maybe its better xx wait till 2008. this is worse than the year september 11th happened--when was that--88? oh and chan marshall is freakin retarded now--remember when cat power was amazing?? ugh.

hmm since when did bjork and pj and cat power and radiohead need pitchfork? they are all quite big, established artists who have done some amazing work in the past and have turned out some real stinkers recently. i hope we're not going to get into a "who listens to the most obscure unheardof bands" debate. ever heard of the smiths? i think pitchfork probably likes them too. settle down texan.

hardly benchmarks--but at least dependable. within and without those artists i think it has been a generally pitiful year for "popular" music. but if there's an artist you feel has done something special this year, by all means--make that the subject of your post! ill resist any kind of counter-flame for the picture you keep of broken social scene and just assume its ironic.

friend opportunity, all of a sudden i miss everyone, graduation, person pitch, strawberry jam- all very worthy 2007 releases. i wouldnt say summary was the only perfect album this year, downtheliffey.
