the high school colors of granada high are in fact
"black and green"
not
"black and light black"
So seeing as red/green colorblindness is the most common type of colorblindness, causing green to appear as light black...
does this mean JS is possibly colorblind? does he even know that his shoes were bright pink last tour???

It's "her school colors: black & light black". I've always thought it was a joke about not the school colors, but her colors in school. She was just a goth kid who had a lot of faded black clothing. It's so hard to keep certain black clothing dark (such as a cure t-shirt)

that's an interesting thought, someone needs to write a Xiu Xiu biography in which the stories and ideas that inspired each song are explained.

mmm kitchencabinet, from everyone thats emailed jamie from time to time im sure we collectively have tons of information about why certain songs were written.. or at least when or why or general things.. whos gonna write it?

so today i was reading on one of the xiu xiu message boards, the shzine one, that there was a debate about the line from crank heart " her school colors, black and light black". its actually a line about jamies mother when she was in student council in highschool she was trying to get the school colors changed to black and light black. just a little xiu trivia for you. also jamies mom is super awesome for that (duh).

ive tried like a million times to post on that message board but i think you have to be really good at computers to do it...
