Hey guys im gonna be flying up to for a bike tour of oregan thats starts and endd in portland (the tour is from august 11-18th)
anyway i really wanna check out portland (the cittyyy) while im there and not just fly in and out of it. So im not asking for cool things/places to do/see it portland (yet) I'm asking whats the miniumum amount of time nesssary to really get a good feel of the city, and mabye do some of those aforementioned cool things.
The only reason I ask is because a week after the tour ends I have to move into my aparment for school (fly back to houston and then drive up to austin to movie up)
so what do you guys think
2 days 1 night??
3 days 2 night?
1 day 1 nighttt
ahhh also lodging...besides of course paying for a hotel (lammmeee) any much better options?
my back-up plan is to become friends with one of the portland bands @ SXSW and crash with them hahaha ..........jk?
