Sorry if it sounds stupidd.........i'm never sure if i do a good enough job, espeically when its something im so passionate about.

If Neutral Milk Hotel doesn't come down and personally wack them off, it won't get higher than a 9 I've found.

i didn't expect to, but i actually really liked the pitchfork review... but i also liked this one... i just think pitchfork should have rated it higher I just hate how some of the writers at pitchfork talk about bands like they're their best friends. they act as if they're on top of everything going on in the band's life and in the world of music in general shits me and Ben's wasn't near as pretentious, just honest so props

what i especially liked about the pitchfork review was that i pretty much disagreed with the writer's basic statement about the album, but s/he really supported it. personally, i found the album to be one of the most fucked up xiu xiu albums, thematically... i don't disagree with my original assessment, but i find the pitchfork review intriguing nonetheless

this review was fantastic. i haven't listened to the air force in ages, and i completely forgot about the one line in that whole album that i related to the most.
loneliness isn’t being alone, it’s when someone loves you and you don’t have it in you to love them back.
unfortunately i haven't even bought the air force yet because i haven't stepped foot outside of the house since june, more or less. i'll probably pick it up at the show.

thanks so much for the positive feedback guys!
as much as i dont usually like their reviews i acutally thought the review was better than most of the reviews that they post. keep you guys updated on any XiuXiu related things that Urbanpollution/I cover in the future. ( which is acutally gonna be quite a bit within the next month)
