so, on wikipedia (which yes, i realize can be utterly insane and false, for instance our new review of the air force record) i traced to the xiu xiu page, and on it, at the very end it speaks of ches smith, who has worked with the group of course, being a member (it seems confirmed by that interview just posted)

but mike watt? the mike watt? in xiu xiu? the bassist mike watt, from the minutemen? c'mon.

whats the deal?
