Quoted for emphasis. And by recordings, do you mean live stuff or just the albums they did? I'd kill for a better sounding copy of cory's theme by the way.

IBOPA was okay. Ten in the Swear Jar was amazing though. Accordion Solo is probably the best album Jamie has ever made IMO.

I prefer IBOPA to XITSJ. I just feel that XITSJ felt like Xiu Xiu, but less developed. IBOPA had a sound that was totally different, more upbeat. Post-Ska or something. I really enjoy listening to all the IBOPA stuff.

I really enjoy listening to all the IBOPA stuff. Meh, I dug IBOPA too, especially it's version of Hives. But XITSJ was just mindblowing. Hot Karl, San Jose Fight Song, Famine, Sita Death and House Quake are probably some of the best songs I've ever heard jamie sing. Also the XITSJ version of King Earth is about 10x better than the one I heard on chapel of the chimes.

What about "In the blue trunks J.H." I would love to here the story behind that song. Totally my favorite XITSJ song, especially on lonely snowy still winter nights.
