i adore neutral milk hotel, and almost cried when i read jeff's post on the e6townhall yesterday. while xiu xiu are my favorite band, aeroplane is my favorite album, and my two tattoos now reflect that... i understand if you don't like them; i probably find some of your favorite music to be overrated... but to simply dismiss a wonderful work of art simply because it's popular with a few hipsters over at pitchfork is kind of lame
