i guess i could be wrong. ive never heard anyone really talking up nmh before where i live and the only time ive seen them being placed high is on pitchfork.. so i guess maybe theyre in that way overrated. i absolutely love aeroplane, but im not into their other stuff at all.

"aeroplane" is a good album, but only two songs make me tingle - "holland 1945" and "oh comely."
other than that, meh @ magnum.

Baby For Pree??? Gardenhead?? and and and godammit On Avery Island is a better album. You just have to listen to it |

I've been vocal about my love for NMH's work, and my opinion that its nothing special really. It ranks up there with every other indie band with a guitar and lyrics written obviously by someone with a rhyming dictionary and some E. I think its great stuff, but I won't hail it as the messiah of music.
I will look up this album when it drops.
