A $900 program that requires a USB key to run from Scanvec Amiable called Flexi, and a $1,200 plotter (which is basically a giant printer with a blade). The materials I use are 24" wide rolls of vinyl, giant(wide) rolls of masking tape that uses a special glue just for this type of application, plastic squeegees & plenty of sharp razor blades.  And no, I haven't had the biz around long enough yet to even break even with the cost of everything. But I'm not too worried about that. It's more of a hobby to me in my mind(I usually enjoy doing it--or enjoy seeing what I've created when it's all done.) Glad you all enjoy it. |
