so what happened today? what made/broke your day?

yesterday i got to have a deep conversation with a stranger about the soul and loving others and we ended with a hug. it was awesome.

but today my arms got sunburnt and i found out all three of my romantic interests are now taken. single for spring/summer. i really didnt see this coming.

i went to a magik markers show last night, and it was pretty out of control. there were a ton of problems with the amps and leah, the bass player, was getting angry because her guitar would not stop cutting out immediately.

halfway into the show, a song (?) ends and leah says 'is my guitar turned up as far as it can go?' and the main girl, elisa, says 'are we still on about this?' leah says 'well i can't hear anything!', to which elisa replies 'ooh she's mad.' leah throws her guitar down and storms off, leaving them to play without her.

after the show i bought their new album and waited at the bus stop to go home...and i'm sitting their with the album in my hands, watching leah weep right next to me in a phone booth.

i finished the first one hundred pages of my theology textbook, wrote a letter to lou barlow concerning the biblical connection to the song 'pole position' (i know, im nuts, but im surrounded by theology at this point) and found one of the last mst3k episodes i do not yet have.

i'm becoming overwhelmed by the size of my apartment, i dont feel as if i deserve it.

considering this day has only just begun (not even midday) and that I'm about to go to work, it could go either way

but also considering I think I had diarrhoea last night (I think) this day is going just swimmingly
