My second harddrive crashed the day before i was going to back up my data, i lost all my xiu xiu mp3s, i dont care about album mp3s, i have all the albums. just the live and really rare stuff. Does anyone have the links for the live sets? or would be able to upload or send them to me?
would be much appreciated, thanks.

get data rescue 2 if you're on a mac, otherwise search download.com for things that could sound like they revive lost data. i got fucked once when i installed a dodgy old network card, and somehow windows erased all my files on all my drives. took me a couple of weeks to find a windows software that
1. found the files
2. was able to retrieve them
3. had a crack somewhere so i didnt have to pay for it
got it all back though. lost only a couple of files out of thousands.

throw your hard drive at the ground and smash it into pieces, then hire the NSA to piece it all back together and recover all of the data.

I almost threw it out the window. once, here in portland, i was walking down the street and suddenly, right in the center of the two lanes i heard a huge SMASH. so i look up and around and then this girl starts throwing more computer parts out into the street. i yell up at her "are you ok?" and she yells back "I FUCKING HATE COMPUTERS!" then slams her window shut. I was stunned and just kind of laughed and looked around at the other people who had just seen it all happen. now, whenever i pass that building i look into that window to see if that girl is there. |
