I got this for AU$10 at the concert
the tracklist is as follows
1. Bog People 2. Red Croissant (according to the notes 'From a G.S.L. 7") 3. Clowne Towne (remix by Cherry Point) 4. Juárez (featuring Eugene Robinson) 5. Blueberry Mineshaft ("A Cover of a Nedelle Song") 6. Ale (remix by Cherry Point) 7. Bird Sounds 8. Jack The Ripper ("A Cover of a Bad Seeds Song on Stickfigure")
Red Croissant reminds me of Nieces Pieces and Rose of Sharon it's got a similar organ instrument that builds up, it's cool the remix of clowne towne's pretty shitty, sorry Juárez is awesome, hang on, is Eugene Robinson from Frog Eyes? no, he isn't.. but he sounds awesome and somewhat like the guy from Frog Eyes. Blueberry Mineshaft has... finger picking... what the fuck.. it sounds weird with Jamie singing on that.. But it's good. the Ale remix is much better than the other, with an interesting drone around the lyrics melody, that buzzes. no surprises on Bird Sounds unfortunately, exactly what it sounds like, albeit high pitched and kind of shrieking Jack The Ripper's like the original but the lyrics are more drowned out and the drums more.. tinny, like Xiu Xiu's percussion
a decent EP yo
