I kinda like it. Sure songs are personal, but covering a song is just about the same level as singing along to it, but its showing you worked at it to really learn the song and play it for other people. Me personally, I've played I Luv and Hives and a few shows (Hives I play more IBOPA style because there's no reason for a depressing song to sound depressing  ). I dig it, maybe i'll put up a recording of some of my covers sometime. |

it's a fucking cover song. the point isn't too make it all xiu xiu sounding, but your own interpretation. and i've heard much worse. and sithie shut the fuck up you dumb bitch. who gives a fucking if it's only two chords?

wow, what made you personally attack me?
all im saying is that a) its not a difficult song to learn (in fact its more than simple being only two chords) so i dont understand the appreciation for playing it and b) the interpretation was horrible in my opinion; his vocals lacked emotion completely, and yes, while it is a cover, its hard to listen to someone sing about a topic so personal when it doesnt belong to them.

ok, well a personal attack was not called for, but don't be a douche.
but you where being down right rude and thoughtless by shoving someones work into the ground. all the dude did was post a link to an mp3. He did ask for feedback, but not someone to rip apart his song and tell him he has no right covering it. jamie covered "asleep" right? case closed.
saying it's bad, is one thing. but whats the point of needlessly degrading someone?
