has anyone tried ordering the subscription, and then just getting 6 copeis of the xiu xiu record? someone should do this and sell the other five copies (one to me of course).

well it says:
For the 6-month subscriptions, please indicate which months you would like to receive in the "Special Instructions or Comments About Your Order" box when you checkout.
should that mean when it asks which months you want, you culd say september x6?

i contacted the guy and asked if i could pick and choose which six months i wanted, and he said no... you either get jan-june or july-dec :-(
are they even still available? i wasn't able to convince myself to pay $30 for one xiu xiu 7" in december, but perhaps i should reconsider...

buying that at a show was the one smart Xiu Xiu vinyl descion ive made, but for seomreason...didnt get la foret...didnt get anything else ....but o well..one less thing to worry about

So glad I got this at the Denton show. Supposedly it was the last one on the tour. I was there during sound check and I asked if they had any left and the dude said no. Disappointed, I kept browsing. Then as he was unpacking he said, "Whoa, I guess we do have one left. This is officially the last one we have." Go me.
I seriously cleaned out the merch table between those two shows I went to. I should've just stuffed Caralee in a burlap sack and called it a life. There's always next time.

they didn't have any by the time they got to l.a. :-( same story with thanks japan, one of the three xiu xiu releases i'm missing (the third is the second pressing of a promise)... if anyone has one they're willing to part with, let me know

yeah, i'm not necessarily a huge fan of all of beckett's work (although many are better on stage rather than the page), but i really love _godot_, _endgame_, and _play_
