"The subject matter is mostly about making other people feel bad, which seem to be what I spent most of my time doing lately"

ah! flagnammit I don't want more poppiness!
ah man at the same time I'm going to buy the album and am probably going to like a few songs.. but be disappointed as a whole.. this is my prediction! just like fabulous muscles and la forĂȘt before it
and then at the same time I feel like a horrible person for wishing bad things on Mr. Stewart so he will write dirty, terrible material again.
Expressing songs through emotion, not emotion through songs. That's what I'm after.
peace

making people feel bad is some of the best music ever. i think the loud poppiness will make it beautiful. though not poppy, look at the anger in "saturn".

Me personally, I really loved the poppiness of FM, and didn't see La Foret as poppy. A Promise seemed poppier to me to be honest.

I loved FM too and how different it was, but it wasn't my favourite.

I think "Don Diasco" is a good one for divorce proceedings.
