i thought maybe people might want to discuss equipment that they use? anyhow, i think david took this picture, it was in the lj community. i was just wondering, is that an epiphone sheraton(?) and is it theirs or a borrowed guitar that was played just at that set?. i'm just curious because later on in the same photoset he is playing an sg  |

Looks like it could possibly be a guitar the Dead Science had. Not sure though.

yes, its sam's guitar, sam mickens from the dead science. its very lovely, a lot like the guitar dean wareham used in galaxie 500, i believe george harrison used it as well when he was with the beatles. its definatly an epiphone i just dont know the exact name of it.
caralee spoke of the equipment used in the interview i conducted with xiu xiu, its on the board now

it is Sam's guitar, Jamie's guitar broke a string durring Pox I believe and he used that through the rest of the set.

Some stuff they normally use that I can remember Gibson Sg Standard guitar Ampeg amp for guitar (not sure what model) Mcelroy rosewood parlor acoustic Green Sovtek big muff, maybe 2 of them. Boss digital delay, I think DD3. 2 microkorgs (1 for feedback) I think SWR amps for Korgs Boss recorder for backing tracks not sure what model I used to know what kind of harmoniums but I can't remember now.
