I love these long winded attempts to describe xiu xiu to people that have never heard it. I like to memorise them so that I can casually throw them into the inevitable 'so what kind of music are you into' conversations that often happen with complete strangers. You can watch the brief look of "eh?" (as they try to compute what that would sound like) cross their faces and then laugh ;D
-- that cover art -- wow, thats going to be interesting... there are so many paintings of Jesus + blood that google is no help dammit.

yeah, and even if i could see the painting now, i'd wait another 6 months before they start publicizing the next album. xiu xiu just keep pushin' em out, like babies.

Weren't they at one point compared to bright eyes to explain them to people? This description was worse.
I think Jesus gets all the press. They ened some pictures of moses bleeding from various orfices. That would be an interesting picture.
