Their website says they're playing tonight in Chicago, but the venue is TBA! I've been asking in other threads if anyone knew, but no one has responded. DOES ANYONE KNOW?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Just found out
9:00 PM 3$ at the Ida Noyes Theater on the University of Chicago Campus 59th and Woodlawn
However, there is a very good chance this concert is open only to U of C students. Which would piss me off a whole lot.

Ugh. I'm sure it is. Plus it's a fucking pain to get to Hyde Park from the North Side.
Oh well...

I think this marks the first time they've come through Chicago and I haven't seen them. Boo for secular shows. Wait, let's not count 21+ in that classification.

So that was pretty good, 'cept for the loud jerks running their mouths during Ale. Same setlist as NYU. That version they're doing of Helsabot is great!

Nope. Only for the first act. A few people were still sitting on the floor for the second opener. The place was pretty small, and by the time Xiu Xiu came on, it was pretty packed, and, far as I could tell, everyone was on their feet.

Oh! No, it wasn't. It was essentially a big room with no chairs. If I were competent, I'd post a dark, crappy photo.

U of C isn't the greatest place to play a show... you could at least choose a school (DePaul, UIC, or even Columbia...) that would attract a much larger audience. The show was open to all, but was poorly managed (changing of price, time, etc...), so not many people were aware of it.
