this is such a fucking scam. two of my favorite bands... on one split BUT you have to subscribe to some stupid fucking GSL subscriptions to get one 7". fuck that

Well... I ordered the 6 month subscription so I'll get the Xiu Xiu split as well as five other 7"s, I subsribed mostly to get the X2 one but I'm interested in the other guys, and if I don't like them I can just sell them on ebay and make my money back. Its not so bad.

According to their website ( www.thepaperchaseband.com/) "the paper chase/xiu xiu split is being pressed right now" that was posted on 08.01.05. Its coming out on stick figure records www.stickfiguredistro.com/ at some point soon last time I heard. But where'd the news that its a nick cave song come from? I would love to hear that... well I'm gonna buy it obviously. |

I'd love to get the split from that site, how does it work? if i put down 6 months worth of cash would i still get the xiu xiu release? thats an odd way to sell 7'' records. cool but annoying.
