there should maybe be a thread about xiu xiu lyrics in general on here or something, because songmeanings is pretty dead, and im sure more people than that care about xiu lyrics.

Kurt Stumbaugh was a member of XITSJ - he was also involved in early xiu xiu, but he was never an official member

for some reason this thread is making me laugh in a ridiculous manner.
the weird thing is, i don't know what the fuck he's talking about in half of the lyrics.
i think the 13 of spades thing is either me being bad luck or non existent. half of the rest i've got absolutely no clue.
it's going to be interesting when he comes to toronto.

i think having one thread about meanings would get a little out of hand, but individual threads shouldn't be a problem, and then maybe we could put together a sticky that links to each of them so they get lost over time
then again, there are a fair number of stickies already
