I don't know anything about this place but judging from their very impressive website and the pictures that suggest a venue three times the size of May Jane's, this is tragic news.

Hello. I'm the promoter for the Houston Xiu Xiu show. The Proletariat is usually 21+, but for Xiu Xiu and all other shows I put there the show will be ALL AGES. And the size of the venue is a little smaller than Mary Jane's. Sorry if the venue gave you wrong information.
