Saw them last night at the Comstock Room of my home, Earlham College. WOW!!!! I've loved them for about a year, and was stoked to see them. I have "A Promise," and that's it, but knew a couple of other songs. So here, as far as i could tell, was the setlist:
1. (Quiet song, with "shut up shut up" chorus)
2. Don Diasco
3. (Something w/ the line "giving it all")
4. (Something w/ the line "bag lady's son")
5. (something w/ the line "last night of our")
6. Pox
7. (something w/ the line "whisking me off")
8. Apistat Commander
9. Sad Pony Guerrilla Girl
Any help filling in song titles would be hot!
The lineup at the show (entitled the "Barbara Bush Rock and Roll Reform"), was Das Yellow Swans, Baby Teeth, Psalm One, The Rosebuds, Micah P. Hinson, and Xiu Xiu closed the show. They had the room in a trance. There were a few of us up front who knew the band, but the whole room was standing slackjawed. It was a truly stunning experience. I have never, EVER felt such electricity at a concert. Incredible.
