yeah, i passed on the $5 photo-pack for the album-bound $20 version and ummmmm yeah, i feel like i walked into a trap to pick out the idiots. c'est la vie.
i was actually hoping against saturn's inclusion on the setlist; my associate felt the same. but goddamn was i proven wrong on that. the intensity of the final verse, that snare drum like bush's symbolic asscheeks, it was like a ritualized taking-to-task for all of us feeling totally disconnected from our government. fit nicely with the venue's orwellian vibe.
too bad my memory of the show is so blurred. but perhaps it's a plus, i can't sit here and just replay it over and over and over and over. tho i still try.
