A friend of mine just showed me the finished video for the Xiu Xiu track "Muppet Face." It's an old-school throw back to early 3d animated pioneers & a veritable high-five fest featuring soldiers, cats, grakiels (sic), scientists, & email. It's nuts. He says it has something to do with the Institute of Creative Technology, which is a joint venture between movie studios, USC, and the U.S. Army...but he's a vascular discharge face & I'm a KrispyKreme Robot. i remember talking to the guy who was doing the video for muppet face as a college project, and he told me it was about a car crash or something. hmm...movie studios, USC, and the army?! that's crazy

One of my favorite songs on La Foret (if not my favorite) I look forward to this, as the other two videos are great.
In addition, how does one go about making a video for a track? I have a track or two on La Foret or Fabulous Muscles I owuld love to animate with a friend or two, is there an official contact or such I could make?

this is one of the best videos i have ever seen in my life for any band ever. i can say this because i had nothing to do with it so i am not bragging. the dudes who did this are brilliant and my new heros de arte.

i just saw the video and it's really cool. i'm not sure if it has anything to do with the lyrics of the song, which i think i read was about the death of a cat and the sex life of jamie, but who knows, maybe he likes to mess with bloody arms  the animation was just like the early 90's projects and the timing of the shots went really well with the piece. from what i got from it, the scientists wanted the generals to know what it feels like to be forced into war, but i'm probably totally wrong. what are grakiels? |

its not the best thing ever made, but i liked the nintendo-esque-ness of it, well, really 80s arcade if you want to get technically i guess. i'm not a fan of anti-war slogans but i mean, all their maps pointed to norway, so i guess thats ok  |
