Fast Cars is a great cover! so is ceremony. yeah, I think any xiu xiu cover should be a song that they really want to do, not just because it would be cool to hear or funny or something.

I realize the likelihood of Jaime reading this thread and going, "Huh, maybe we SHOULD cover that song" is pretty low, but I just heard "Cocksucker Blues" by The Rolling Stones and immediately thought of Xiu Xiu. The song is perverse but also witty, in a way that reminds me of "Fabulous Muscles" or "Poe Poe." I think it could be awesome.

Leonard Cohen's material seems well suited to covering by Xiu Xiu. I'd like to hear them do "Seems So Long Ago, Nancy" or maybe "Avalanche."
