I completely sympathize with the sentiment that torturing young cows and breeding deformed chickens is immoral. And if you find growth hormones and similar treatments troubling--then theres sense there too.
But the "we shouldnt kill animals cus its mean and theyre cute" crap is just fucking stupid. If you say its pointless (which i and numerous dieticians disagree with) then i would ask you to look through your closet and see if you find any leather belts.
