i think this is the best record EVER written. im not over exagerating like everyone does on the internet, but realy, the best record ever written. i remember seeing them live in modesto 3 years ago. i wasnt even prepared for what i was going to hear. i love all their newer records, but i just cant get over knife play.
does anyone feel this way?

It's definitely one of the best. Pretty much flawless, in its own way. A Promise has been my fav though, too.

what i mostly listen to is Xiu Xiu live which I downloaded from tomstyle a while back. Xiu Xiu is just better live than on album

Knife Play is super-great. The way the two sides play and lead to their endings is just jawsome.

Knife Play was the last of Xiu Xiu's albums that I heard and I was fucking amazed at such a unique, cohesive and well made album it is for a debut.
