Hey Owen! I've been on a sandwich kick recently, and wanted to try something new. I remembered years ago there was a Youtube video where you were being interviewed and you talked about making the best sandwich ever. I think you described it being like a Monte Cristo, but not quite? Unfortunately that video has been taken down and I can't find it anywhere else. Would you be willing to share the recipe again? Thanks!

You take raisin bread, put swiss cheese and turkey on it (or ham if you prefer), and leaves of fresh picked basil, like six leaves per sandwich. Dip the sandwich whole into beaten eggs with a splash of milk and fry it like you would a French toast. It's basically a monte cristo except the raisin bread and basil makes it real tasty
Every New Year's Day I have a big open house, people come by any time between noon and midnight, and I'm making a steady supply of these sandwiches and black velvets for people who need a restorative after the previous night's festivities
