Hey, not sure if anyone here is well-versed in guitar or has found out how to play any of the Island songs on guitar. I'm trying to figure them out. Alternative tunings used perhaps?
Edit: sounds like Lewis Get Fucked Into Space is in drop D tuning (?)

I tune my guitars a half-step down, I like the slightly slackened quality it creates. Tuning for "Fucked" is D# G# C# F A# D#. Tuning for "Fire-Mare" is the same, at capo 5.

I don't know how to type tabs.
Verses keep open D# the whole way through. On the A-string, it's 2, 4, 6, 7 (x2), then 9, 7, 5, 4, 2, 4, 6, 7
When I start strumming, the fingering is like this. I do half-barre chords so the low string is always open. I've noted which fret to bar at on the upper line.
D# (b2)(b4) A# 0 0 2 2 4 4 4 4 F 0 0 2 2 5 5 5 5 C# 1 1 2 2 4 4 4 4 G# 2 2 2 4 6 6 6 7 D# 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
That happens twice. Then the descending chords:

It's not exact but you should be able to figure it out with that info

If anyone has figured out how to play Fire-Mare, help will be much appreciated! My ears are too untrained to tell if I'm getting the fingerpicking or the chords wrong.

It's super easy... it's capo 4 (I play it capo 5 with my guitar detuned a semitone flat).
E A D F# B E is the tuning-- just lower that G-string a semitone.
All the chords are, for example 577000, 799000, 244000, 022000. Fifths in the lower strings and leave the upper three strings open all the time. Let me know if you get it figured out!

Also for anyone who also wants to learn, the fingerpicking for the intro to Fire-Mare would be something like this:

Does anyone know also the tab for Polar Vortex and A Bloody Morning?? For polar i have an aproximation: EMaj7 and AMaj7 ||: And then A and E For "A Blody Morning i have nowhere to start

Polar Vortex's tuning is E-A-C#-G#-A-E
Most of the chords are barred. They are X77777, X 12 12 12 12 12, 0X3344, and X55555. Then you pick the open strings.
The fingerpicking pattern will go like this for example:
---7-------------7------- -------7-----7-------7--- -----7-----7-------7----- ---------7-------------7- -7-------------7--------- -------------------------
For 0X3344, the fingerpicking is the same except you will pick the low-E string instead of A:
---4-------------4------- -------4-----4-------4--- -----3-----3-------3----- ---------3-------------3- ------------------------- -0-------------0---------

For A Bloody Morning, I based this off of Owen's performance on Instagram: http://instagr.am/p/CAgW3b8gOX3 You can use standard tuning with capo at 8. Chords are X20033 (I think Owen uses his middle finger to mute the low-E string?), X00233, X00232. Then X32030 and X22030 (I think he lifts his middle finger midstrum with this chord?). The ring and pinkie finger on your fret hand will be anchored most of the time. There are also half barre chords when he sings "And yet...": 224400, 234400. He picks the bass string, then strums. I highly recommend just watching the video and observing how he plays because I might have gotten some things wrong! Hopefully someone who knows guitar better can pitch in.

I open up to full chords on "but do not be scared" and the final chorus: 320033, 200233 (200232), 032030, 022030 (020030). That's how I always finger them, and I don't mute the low E I just try and pick carefully. On the D/F# chord, I use my thumb. I avoid the upper two strings on "and yet"
