im gunna be in the big apple on the 20th,which,coincidentally xiu xiu will be performing at the tonic (21+ show). i am not 21 but will do just about anything to get to see them. is it hard to break in? like back door entrances, bribing the bouncer? i heard that New york bars dont even check ID that often and underage drinking realy isnt that big of a concern to bar owners.

Usually shows at Tonic (unless they are in the lounge downstairs) are 18+, it was the last time Xiu Xiu played there a few months ago. It's probably worth a try to just go and see what happens.

Is there a possibility this might sell out? It sounds like Xiu Xiu shows are becoming quite popular... Is this going to be a strictly pay-at-the-door affair? And if so, is it a small enough venue that they might end up turning people away? I'm just happy to be in New York by chance when Xiu Xiu are playing, and I don't want to miss it, as I've been waiting a long time to see them. Tim Z
