i just found a copy of "fabulous muscles" on vinyl at my local record store and it is absolutely gorgeous. it's the free porcupine society release, which i guess is limited to 200 copies from what i've seen, but it's not numbered as far as i could tell... has anyone picked up the tomlab/acquarella version?

from what i read earlier in this forum the vinyl from free porcupine society is not limited, which is a good thing, since i have no money, and i would be panicking right now trying to throw cash together if it was limited. if this has changed though somebody please!!! tell me!! -will yes- free porcupine society is doing the lp in a silk screened cover. it should be out the same day, or shortly after the cd release date. we have a website under construction now at www.freeporcupinesociety.com, and our distributors are listed with links. we are really happy that we got to do vinyl for xiu xiu. jamie is the sweetest of all people. it will not be a limited edition either- we are trying to keep everything in print- thanks for your patience. -rob

hm... that quote does contradict all of the press i've seen, but the label itself would probably be a good source "The third and most wonderful Xiu Xiu album yet! Includes the unbelievable title track plus a remake of Ten In The Swear Jar's "I Love the Valley, Oh!" and the crippling "Nieces Pieces." Ten songs in all. The CD is on 5RC, the LP is very limited from Free Porcupine Society." -absolutely kosher
