last i heard he's bi, though i've also heard gay. bottomline is he has a penchant for penis. so yes, when he sings about guys, it is most likely his own feelings related through the song.

bottomline is he has a penchant for penis. i am SO stealing this line we've had this discussion before, but i can't seem to find the old discussion... people who claim to know jamie have said that he's bisexual, and it does sound pretty likely, since he stated in a past interview that he fell in love with a woman

okay i got in about 450000 fights last time this was a thread but all i have to say about it is this.
who cares.
when he's singing suha, do you wonder if he's really a woman? does it make it any less dramatic/poignant/perfect? so when he's singing fabulous muscles, who cares if he's gay or bi or whatever label you want to come up with. it doesnt change the emotion or the intention or the feeling you get when you're listening.

oh the other thing i always mean to say but forgot (hahaha, can you tell i've thought about this before?) is:
do people want jamie to be gay or queer or bi or trans becuase it'll make xiu xiu easier for them to understand? is it easier to digest some "fag" singing "cremate me after you come on my lips honey boy" than it is when the artist doesn't label their sexuality clearly?
thoughts. justin

as long as its fag music, i don't care if its gay or straight or metrosexual.

i think jamie's sexuality has a lot to do with the music and fanbase. . .. . . how many of you guys were drawn to xiu xiu because of the album name, fag patrol. . .or nakedness or jamie's girlish laugh. . . the band has a unique and sophisticated presence. they are open and honest..
and by the by. . .i bet most people on this list (including myself) fucking want Jamie. He is so cute.

jamie IS extremely hot, and it would be nice to know that i had a chance with him but i think his sexuality does matter, although i could care less if he ever states what it is. however, his discussion of "queer" subjects is one of the many things that attracted me to xiu xiu, and i embrace his ambiguity

Well for those who haven't put 2 and 2 together, i'm pretty sure he's seeing Caralee McElroy, the new touring member of Xiu Xiu and the girl in all the press shots. Little Panda McElroy, anyone? Just a theory...
