there's a feature called "My Favorite Singers by Xiu Xiu's Jamie Stewart" linked attractively on their front page.

Also, I'm curious about who "Yabbazuki Eye" is. Maybe just another weird spelling of Yamatsuka/Yamantaka/Yamataka Eye from the Boredoms?

Um yea, that's a feature they have from time to time. They usually have some feature on the top of the page, from Black Dice, Cat Power, Broken Social Scene, Exploding Hearts interviews. But they do have other features. I thought it was a interesting read, it's not like there was a big picture of Jamie drinking a Pepsi in Gucci sweats and a Tommy jacket. I don't see why it was bad of them to ask him for the article. ZUM online had another essay Jamie wrote about his students a few months ago, and I didn't think that came off as pretentious or pandering or "dick sucking." Sometime I feel like I get more out of Pitchfork and zine articles than I do CNN and other mainstays of journalism.

That article in Zum online had me laughing SO hard all day... I was there sitting in the morst cursed calass of all time .. .micro economics, where I constantly have to address the fact that the information presented doesn't fit with mathmatics, and thus is probably wrong and all I could do was think of a little 4 year old with his head taped to a desk, lieing in a cot being masterbated on by another little 4 year old girl. It's one of the most endeering and twisted tails I have heard in a while.
THANKS for the link!
