"Teach Me Tiger" by April Stevens. "Sex Boy" by The Screamers. "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot. I know that he's done this on karaoke.

perhaps it's a little obvious, since everyone from elvis costello to bjork have covered it, and it's considered one of the most depressing songs ever, but i'd love to hear a cover of "gloomy sunday" by billy holiday (ok, she didn't write it)

honestly the "ceremony" cover blows my mind, i really wish they'd just cover every joy division song haha. but while we're considering dreams that won't happen.
"i want you" by elvis costello (i think jamie's voice could perfectly capture the starkness and creepiness of that amazing song)
"tonight was a disaster" by casiotone for the painfully alone (jamie produced this guy's new album i believe, and i'd like to hear him do my favorite casiotone song)..
woo woo yay.

I'd like to hear them cover something by the polyphonic spree, like "Section 4 (La La)", just because the bands are polar opposites moodwise. or maybe "wax and wane" by cocteau twins. or "free ride" by nick drake.

"i want you" by elvis costello (i think jamie's voice could perfectly capture the starkness and creepiness of that amazing song) totally agree with this one... it's one of my favorite costello tracks, and it is pretty creepy... they could also do "the more you ignore me, the closer i get" by morrisey for additional creepiness

yeah twinkle echo is the album i mean. jamie talked about it in one of the interviews someone linked on this here forum, though i don't remember which one. the casiotone guy has a livejournal here: www.livejournal.com/users/cftpaforever that might mention a bit about it. weehoo.

they should cover road to nowhere by the talking heads because that would be cool and neat. we are on the road to nowhere, and so on.
