all i can say, . . .is "f" whoever stole xiu xiu's equipment. I mean really, what are they gonna do with all those weird (no offense) instruments!?
And may i just add, A Promise is a fricken sick album. I'm growing obsessively into it. and i'm constantly amazed at the mindset that xiu xiu puts music into.

Fuck whoever has the nerve to steal any band's instruments. Especially a band like Xiu Xiu with a shitload of instruments that can't just be found or duplicated anywhere...
By the way, yeah A Promise is really amazing...I was worried that the band might end up recreating Knife Play. Knife Play is great but I think that it wasn't as musically "mature", if you will, that it could have been. I'm glad they evolved musically.

The people that stole it sold it all on eBay, stating that it was Xiu Xiu gear, and people payed more for it just because of this simple fact.
