This is Russ O'Shea of Wailing Corpse here, and I am just posting to ask that all you guitar players that think you are of worthy stature to play in our band to please just let us know that you are interested. If you got a guitar playing friend then tell them too! Tyler Smart has gone to New Zealand and we need to fill his shoes and so try outs have now begun. All we want is a person that is able to do lead and rhythm parts while learning quickly. The person must also love Maiden (of course) and be into writing originals as well...or at least learning originals. We would prefer experienced players but if you can shred and do back flips at the same time, that will probably get you in . So there it is, I just ask that you post it here first or email me at russ_oshea@hotmail.com to let me know if you want to try out for the mighty Corpse! Thats all for now...byebye...EC. <<Russ>>

Well, I sure hope there are more guitar players out there then just Mr. Johnny Ransom. Remember, we don't care how great you are, we can form you into the great shredder we need, although we aren't miracle workers, so atleast be able to play rhythm or something. This position as new axeman for Wailing Corpse is not just to replace Tyler Smart while he is gone, it is probably for as long as you wish, so if you want to be in a great, fun, energetic band, that (thank God) isn't punk in Abbotsford, then by all means, just say who you are and send me an email which I stated above or write it on this crazy message board thingy. I don't care if you are EVEN Josiah Hughes, you can try out too . We want shows soon, so if you ever want to see Corpse again, then find us a guitar player!!!!!!!...byebye...EC. <<<Russ>>

my friend adam is working on a few songs but he didn't say which ones. my other friend matt is learning aces high, run to the hills, fear of the dark, and another one. he seems a bit more interested in the spot than adam too. i think he also mentioned going to school or something with tyler

Well, here's the deal. Matt (guitar) and Jordan (Drums) will be having tryouts on wednesday, Jan. 15th. So here is a list of songs to try and learn, but you don't have to learn all of them...just a few, like 3-5 or more if you want:
Phantom of the Opera Ides of March Wrathchild Killers Invaders 22 Acacia Avenue Total Eclipse The Trooper The Flight of Icarus Aces High Rime of the Ancient Mariner The Clairvoyant Tailgunner Fear of the Dark
You can email me with who you are etc, and I will email you further information as to what you will need to bring, where the tryouts will be, and when you should be there. My email is russ_oshea@hotmail.com ...so there it is. JayC just let your friends know my email address and tell them to email them real soon...REAL soon...byebye...EC. <<Russ>>
