This is an official announcement that Matt McArthur of the Glorious Janitors has left the band. I don't wish to go into full detail of the reasons why, but I can assure you there are no hard feelings on either side.
However, this means some lineup changes. Since I am not nearly as good a guitarist as I sometimes brag I am, I will be moving from lead guitar to lead vocals and rhythm guitar. This also means that there is now an opening for a second lead guitarist.
This is where you people come in. We will be auditioning for a new lead guitarist as soon as possible. There are some requirements, though. First, you must obviously be able to play better than me, or else there's no point. The awesomer your shredding and soloing skills the better. Also, you must at least in general like the style of music we play, which is essentially metal, but of all kinds, but mostly the good stuff (80's epic), as well as a little bit of punk influence, and who knows what else. Also, we prefer that you be somewhere around 18-20 years of age, although we will accept both male and female applicants.
Thats about it. To ask for an audition, or to inquire more, contact Loran at loran@gloriousjanitors.com or band@gloriousjanitors.com or call me at 854-5910
Thank you from Johnny Ransom, former lead player and now singer of the Glorious Janitors.
PS All of you tell your guitar playing friends, especially if they don't read this thing!
