I'm definately suffering from memory decay at the moment as I have this spooky feeling I already ask this one and know the answer, but ......
What was this one all about and did it just become something else?
and who has a copy of the dvd that was made of their second show (1st in Toronto)? I've never tracked down a copy. Does it really exist.

It exists. You won't ever find a copy, though, only 20 were made. Don't bother with it, either, it's a shitty album.
It was recorded in 2002 with Andy Magoffin (of the House of Miracles) with a brass quintet. The sessions were rushed and the songs were "old-guard", that is, they wouldn't impress anybody. Very dissonant and noisy, with overwrought lyrics.
I re-assembled the quintet for a couple of songs which then appeared on Blood Orgy and 1000 Xans despite being totally out of place.
The DVD of the first ever Les Mouches (with Rob and Matt) show is in my possession. It wasn't that long ago, 3 & a 1/2 years. We played "Behold The Hands Of Men", "Little Coup", "Close To You", "Cities Become Less Important", "Canyons", and "Love Song/Empty Room". It sounds remarkably like every other Les Mouches show.

Thanks for the information. I obviously hadn't asked before as I didn't know the answers. As I never got to experience a Les Mouches performance and only have a few clips from friendly sources I wouldn't know one show from another, but I suspect that I would have enjoyed them.
