Did anyone else pick this up at any of the tour stops. I did and I really enjoyed it. Although it messes up sometimes halfway through. I was just wondering because I hadn't read anything about it actually being released beyond the earlier speculation of it one day coming out and then bam, there it was at the show for sale.

I think the guy who made them had just shown up at the Denton show as Xiu Xiu didn't have them at the other two shows that weekend. I'm not sure what the deal is with it being "released". I think it's just something some guy did out of his own interest and didn't involve Xiu Xiu in the production.

Hmm, it seemed official. It was with all their other merch and it was the tour manager/merch guy that sold it to me. But the packaging is photocopied and not shrink wrapped either so maybe they just brought it over and sold it at the Denton shows. If that's so it's really unfortunate for all of the other fans.

They didn't have it at the Chicago show.
Can someone involved with the DVD project please post and let us know how or if we can purchase the DVD outside of the shows? I have GOT to get my hands on that...

I would really like to get a copy of this DVD. If someone could pick up an extra at an upcoming show, I'd gladly pay you for it, and give you a copy of the show I taped.

Hello, this is Evan from wolfe-stone. Sorry we haven't made an official announcement about the DVD yet. We weren't even planning to have it ready until September, but we thought it would be a shame not to have any at the Denton show, so we set aside our other projects and focused on Xiu Xiu in the weeks prior to the show. And we really wanted to have a few more copies onhand before making an official announcement. As some have noticed, we didn't even have enough copies to give the band for the rest of the tour...sorry! But the DVD is indeed finished! If you liked the "crank heart" video on our website, we think you'll really like the DVD, too. It includes live videos of the following songs: -clowne towne -rose of sharon -i love the valley, oh! -i broke up (SJ) -fabulous muscles -poe poe -suha -crank heart -20,000 deaths for eidelyn gonzales, 20,000 for jamie peterson -helsabot (with Caralee singing)The cost is just $10 + shipping & handling and we'll definitely be taking orders via e-mail at: orders@wolfe-stone.comInternational orders are welcome as well! For this reason, shipping and handling will be calculated per order. As far as payment is concerned, we're currently only able to accept cashier's checks and money orders, but we should be setting up a PayPal account soon. You should receive an e-mail response from us within 48 - 72hrs confirming your order, listing the total amount and detailing where/how to send payment. Thank you all again for your support and interest in this project! It never would have happened if we hadn't heard from all of you! Also note: as Dr. Strangelove mentioned, Xiu Xiu has indeed approved this DVD and we will be sharing all net profits with them. We had the chance to hang out with them while they were here and I must say that they're some of the sweetest, most appreciative people we've ever met! :-) Please let us know if you have any questions! Until we next.... -evan evan@wolfe-stone.com

Regarding shipping to Australia, we're more than happy to ship there and it costs about $7 extra. E-mail your exact address to orders@wolfe-stone.com when you're really ready to order and we'll give you an exact cost. Thanks! -evan

Cromulent, We're really, really glad you liked the DVD! I'm sorry there was a "glitch" in the middle. Are you sure it wasn't an effect? There are some random effects during certain tracks... If it's definitely a glitch and you would like a replacement DVD, please e-mail me directly at evan@wolfe-stone.comTake care! -evan

Yes, I'm sure it was a glitch or whatever. Because the dvd stopped completely. But it's only done it once in the one and a half times I've been able to watch it. Good to know I can get a replacement though if need be. Thanks a million and good luck with the upcomming distribution.
