Knitting Factory show last night

Anybody know the name of the opening song played last night at the Knitting Factory? It was fantastic. The chorus repeated the phrase "Why ask?". If it's on a recording, please let me know which one.

Perhaps I should know this song, since it may be on one of the recordings, but i don't have the entire discography yet. Gotta get my hands on this song, though.

Also, anybody attend Jamie's DJ set after the show? How was it? What did he spin?

OK, ignore the first part of this. Just read a prior thread that indicated that this was a new song. Oops.

Info on the DJ set would be great, though.

jamie's dj set was great...he started at around 3am & went to about 4.

some of the stuff he played:

the smiths, nico, new order, kool keith, roxy music, johnny cash, o.m.d., dj assault, some classical music, some klezmer music, & more.

if you're talking about the song where Jamie played the auto-harp, the song is called Bog People. I didn't see them at the Knitting Factory, but i saw them at the YMCA in cambridge and they opened with Bog People, which sounded absolutly amazing.

I can't wait untill we can get our hands on a recording, live or otherwise.
