Jamie and Caralee were really into the performance tonight all the way through, there was not a single song that I wasn't completely satisfied with, the new material was absolutely incredible, talking to them after the show was so nice due to their friendliness and humility, getting my shirt signed was delicious...
Thank you so much Caralee and Jamie, come back to Chicago sometime soon so we can talk again!
Mike
(How did everyone else that was there like it?)

after the torturous opening acts I did think anything xiu xiu did could justify my $10, but I was wrong that was one of the most heartfelt shows I've ever seen. Amazing!

The show was positively stunning. This was my first Xiu Xiu gig and I was completely blown away. What a set list!
Jaime was kind enough to sign my "Fag Patrol" CD. I usually don't approach bands at gigs, but I felt particularly compelled to do so after this show. He was terribly kind and warm, even if I had so little of substance to say ("Uh, Jaime, your music, like, means SO much to me..."). How embarassing. Anyway, Jaime, if you read this, I was the guy the shy guy with the shaved head and meeting you was the shit. If you ever need a place to stay in Chicago, my boyfriend and I have an extra room...
And another thing, the Fireside Bowl fucking sucks! There are so many better venues in town. Xiu Xiu should not be playing in a fucking bowling alley.
Once again, thanks for everything, Jaime. I hope I get the chance to talk with you again...

Additionally, I saw a bunch of people at the show with cameras. Does anyone have ANY pictures, video or audio from the show?!?
