i saw this thing on cbc called "the country's greatest job application" or something stupid like that. it had layton and martin answering stupid questions from stupid white kids. i tihnk the only intelligent probing questions came from quebecers. go figure.
ex: "hi, i'm a jackass from alberta 'GO FLAMES! WOOOOO'! and my question is for both "applicants" hahahahaha; what is your favourite barenaked ladies song, and why?
martin: mine would have to be 'if i had a million dollars' because i would invest it in all of your futures via education.
layton: i'm irish and have a stupid mustachioso and i like U2 so i'd have to say it's a beautiful day!
*cue uproarious pompous laughter*
martin: (noticing the well-received response) oh yeah, i change my answer to that too
*silence*
{if i was there he woulda gotten fagged so bad}

layton seemed pretty under control.. harper did too at most times.. martin was all over the place.. stuttering.. avoiding questions.. making cheap shot remarks.. constantly reusing words and phrases like 'in no doubt' and 'fundamental issue'.. and wouldn't shut up about healthcare.. i'll bet scratching his ass is a fundamental issue..
a favourite part though was when harper made a slight slip of the tongue that i doubt too many people noticed.. when he said that he 'owned' two kids..
i liked everything layton said and how on the ball he was.. Gilles Duceppe was great too.. throwing up some actually interesting questions to the others
