Shindig, the Battle of the Bands brought to you by CiTR Radio begins this week!
CiTR Radio continues to offer the freshest underground music in this annual competition that spans 13 weeks (from September to December) and over a thousand participants.
Spanning over 20 years, Shindig has continued to play an important role of supporting emerging artists and musicians in the Greater Vancouver Region.
Bands such as You say party! We say die!, Dandi Wind and They Shoot horses don't they? have competed in this ubercool competition. Once again CiTR Radio is pleased to collaborate with the Railway club along with numerous sponsors and volunteers.
Each week, twenty-seven bands and musicians of all styles duke it out to grab one of three prize-winning top slots. With three great bands each night and free audience prizes, what more can you ask for?
For media features please contact Ben Lai at benlai@citr.ca or at 604 822 1242. For more information and updates, you can check out the Shindig website -
