Hey guys
A whole lot of silence around here these days, but interestingly, everything is happening so fast and so suddenly.
- The record is coming out in January or February. It is a full-stop 10/10 emotional rollercoaster and you are all gonna die when you hear it. There will be video(s), and a 7" around the same time.
- I am touring full-time with Arcade Fire as one of several "non-pictured" members-- the others may or may not include Tiwill (percussion), Diol (percussion), Marika (currently on mat. leave), Colin (sax), Michael (sax).
- OP touring will be limited to my "off-time" from that band, likely two to three weeks a season. As a result, we will be covering major markets, mostly-- that means London but not Birmingham, Paris but not Lille, and so on-- (just watch us confirm a show in Lille next month, ***).
- I have a ballet, it is being performed by the National Ballet of Canada. It features a soprano and a harpsichord and a full orchestra and it is very sci-fi. Here is the info: national.ballet.ca/performances/season1314/Innovation/
- My violin concerto will be performed in Berlin and Winnipeg in 2014 and I will post details as they become available.
- Continued arrangement work, as always. Finished work earlier this year with Jennifer Castle and Sarah Neufeld. Did stuff with Todd Terje on the new Franz Ferdinand record. Working now with Dan Snaith and Foxes In Fiction, both very beautiful records.
