Hey guys No real news to report. I'm playing Schumannfest in Dusseldorf next weekend, shoot!    kinda overlooked that info, would have been a mere 4 hours drive and just came back from Düsseldorf, where i have spent the last weekend and saw posters for this concert everywhere.... now i can only READ about and watch how great it was... Just got bus tickets to get to the Hamilton gig next month. Looking forward to being in the Toronto area again, seeing Owen for the first time in far too long, and hopefully not sleeping on a roof this time.

I was stranded for a day in Hamilton once, I thought the streets were nicer than Toronto's. |

It was really wonderful. They added train service late at night so I could crash with my friend in Oakville (traveling is nice, sleeping is nicer). I managed to see a few acts in the evening: Rah Rah, Born Ruffians, The Gertrudes, Hollerado, Change of Heart. I'm sure I saw some shziners but didn't break the 4th wall, as it were. I'm going to write a piece or two about Owen's set once I wake up tomorrow. I have so many exciting thoughts about the next album.
Supercrawl also did its job, and I am now convinced that Hamilton is a nice place to live with a nice hip arts scene and would like to raise my 2-child nuclear family there and have the youngest play ringette and have the eldest take theater classes. What brought you there?
