... it's that you don't need to have pretty scores for people to play your music.
You can just jot down some stuff and play it yourself.
I hate Sibelius.

No jk, I usually end up throwing the mouse at the wall. But it gets things done so I'm not complaining

I'm a Finale user myself, and if you don't mind me asking, what's the true benefit of Sibelius over Finale?
I might convert, but does Sibelius use .mus files?

I don't really have a strong opinion either way, I just started using it because my friends did and never really felt as much a need to change as I did a need to shoot myself.
From what I've seen of Finale-made scores, I think they look cleaner, but Sibelius scores look prettier.
