Austin show was off the fucking chain. Yamantaka // Sonic Titan were the perfect openers, other than cong for brums they were my fav ever.
The frankie teardrop cover had to be the best of the whole tour; and I don't say that surreptitiously. It was jamie at his most energetic; pure awesome.
Angela brought everything to the live show that I expected, and she was super sweet and humble. I am so glad that I got to experience this show... definitely my favorite so far.
Also, Angela confirmed that it will be just her and Jamie for the Swans tour lineup. Plus wtf, I've seen the same drummer from shearwater at every Austin XX tour and never knew he played drums in Swans as well. I was like 'Hey dude, I've seen you at every XX show.. you play for shearwater right?" and he was like "yeah, and swans." MIND = BLOWN. I shook his hand... really gentle guy.
